TAROK Indian Green Spade Fortune Telling Cards AUGUST PETRTYL 1921 Complete Deck. This is a rare deck of “green spade” Tarock or Tarok Indian Auction Fortunetelling Cards by August Petrtyl and Son. These cards probably date to 1921, no later than 1922. There are 21 trump cards, and four sets of eight cards for each suit, including green spades, yellow diamonds, black clubs, and pink hearts. The colors are beautiful and the designs are wonderful examples of the art nouveau style in illustrations. The back has a red and black design and a miniature version of the card appears on the face of the card. The set has the original instructions and points cards. Cards are in good antique condition with wear and tear appropriate for their age. Please see photos for condition details. The box is missing its closing potion of the lid.
